Anklecast 15

Now without lettuce!

Today, I have a special guest with me to discuss my failures and dreams. It's not that special, since he appears on every other show that I do with me, but he's never been on the Anklecast before. Click play, and listen to me tell Rish Outfield how I am going to try to fend off a mid-life crisis.

Right click HERE to download the episode, select Save Link As, and save the file to your hard drive.

  1. I respect the work you do on the Dunesteef and always look forward to hearing your next podcast.

I run a small token payment podcast called AcmeTales.com as well as the long running podcast Colbyjack.net (which does novel length serializations and has been running continuously since around 2010 I can't remember exactly how long)

Acme Tales is a lot like the Dunesteef in that it is a labor of love and only pays $10 for a story.

It is unlike the Dunesteef in that it is a solo read podcast with little or no sound effects and limited banter. (though I do have chatter.acmetales.com where I attempt to interview people I find interesting but that is something else and has little to do with this note)

Basically, I like your stories, and as I don't like reading slush, I have decided to extend an invitation to you to submit works to the podcast.

I am looking for works of between 2,000 to 9,000 words which fit one of the themes I have selected for the various months of the year. I have attached the theme list to the bottom of the comment.

Christopher Munroe (@munsimunsi on twitter) whose work appeared in episodes 112 and 142 of the Dunesteef is contributing stories and I think it would be awesome if you would consider sending something my way.

If you have any questions, comments, or stories to submit, contact me at ColbyTrax@colbyjack.net

    Thank you for your time,
I hope this new year treats you better than the last

    Colby Trax
